The wines of Tenuta Pescarina are produced in full respect of ancient traditions: choosing typical varieties and cultivars, employing non-aggressive treatments, and using moderate fertilizers to maintain the physical properties of the soil, and using suitable transformation technologies to preserve the unmistakable aromas and flavors of our territory.

THE ESTATE
Our territory is Abruzzo. The vineyards of Tenuta Pescarina are located on gentle hills suspended between the Adriatic Sea and the Majella mountain, in the town of Spoltore in the province of Pescara. The Estate is located within the Terre dei Vestini, one of the most prestigious sub-zones of the DOC Montepulciano d’Abruzzo.
The entire territory is owned by the Cerulli Irelli family and is characterized by the presence of an ancient watchtower, the Torre Sterlich, from the 16th century, also owned by the family, which overlooks the hill and protects the vineyards that gently descend along the slopes.
KISSED BY THE SUN AND PROTECTED BY THE MOUNTAINS!
We are favored by the climate of our hills, softened by the proximity of the sea in summer but dominated by the presence of the Majella in winter, a combination particularly suitable for our crops.
THE CELLAR
The Cellar of Tenuta Pescarina is located within the Convent of San Panfilo, just below the level of the historic Cloister.
Inside, you will find LA BOTTAIA, where over ten oak wood barrels house the finest wines of Tenuta Pescarina.
